This procedure worked perfectly except I put the CD in after putting all the cables back in. We pushed the button to add a station to a used Ford 2003 Focus with a Blaupunkt Stereo. The thing started flashing on and off with the audio going on and off. I'm glad the volume wasn't way up. The dam thing wouldn't stop even when the car was off.
